Pilgrims can arrive following the GR65 route coming from Ostabat. Some also come by way of the Piémont Camino arriving from Saint Just d’Ibarre. Others arrive from the Pyrenees following the GR10 from the village of Baigorri, passing along the foothills of Munoa Mountain.
The train from Bayonne to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port for the most part follows the Nive River during the approximately one hour and fifteen minute trip. There are four trains a day. Consult the schedules here:

Upon arrival in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port follow signs to the Pilgrims’ Office in order to reach Beilari. We are exactly across the street from the Pilgrims’ Office, approximately 10 minutes by foot from the train station.
The bus from Pamplona to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port runs only between April and the beginning of November. It takes an hour and forty-five minutes. Consult the schedules:
Arriving by car, it is important to note that during high season access by car to the historic center is prohibited. The best option during those times is to unload luggage at the parking provided at the Porte St Jacques. From there you can reach Beilari easily by foot. It is only 200m. If you want to leave you car several weeks, authorities require parking in the Fauvettes parking lot close to the market.
From Biarritz Airport: Connect by bus to the Bayonne train station and then to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Or use one the transport services (Donkey-Service or Express-Bourricot) for direct transport to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port by shuttle.
From Airports of Toulouse, Tarbes/Lourdes, Pau: Connect by train to the Bayonne train station and then to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
From Madrid Airport: Train to Pamplona. From Pamplona bus or taxi to Saint-Jean.
