The GR10 is a French long-distance trail that crosses along the chain of the Pyrenees from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean.
From west to east this trail leaves from Hendaya on the Atlantic coast and then continues climbing through the heights of Basque country, finally arriving at Banyuls-sur-Mer after a distance of 916 Km.
To complete this entire trail, the walker will need around 50 days. A frequent option is to divide the trail into various sections and do them from year to year.
Alternating between forest paths and mountain trails, the GR10 provides a complete encounter with the Pyrenees. It is important to note that this route is much more demanding than the the French part of the Camino de Santiago. It is advisable to have experience mountaineering.
If you begin the GR10 in Hendaya, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is usually the stop after the 5th stage. We will be waiting for you. Welcome to Beilari!
